DALT Technology Group introduces Student Tracks, software that verifies students using biometrically safe enrollments. Enrollment takes place by having the students place their finger on a fingerprint sensor, scanning their finger. Student Tracks identifies the minutiae points in their fingerprint, converts and encrypts them, and saves the encrypted result in a template in the database. This template is what Student Tracks compares with the students real fingerprint during verification. The fingerprint image is discarded from memory. After enrollment, the next time their fingerprint is scanned, Student Tracks verifies the true identify of students and marks them present in attendance. Each day the students can be marked for present in attendance simply by pressing their finger on the sensor. When the software completes the scan, a check mark appears on the screen indicating a successful scan. If the fingerprint is unsuitable, simply by touching it again will restart the scanning. Student Tracks allows school officials to immediately identify where a student should be, in real-time, during school hours, using the wireless version. The true identity of each student is easily verified as the student's class record is returned to display a picture of the student and class schedule information. Also, Student Tracks allows you to create Student IDs on the fly with the use of a digital camera and our ID badge printer. The entire process takes approximately forty-five seconds per student. Complete class schedules can be maintained to allow immediate changes to student's schedule. If retention is your concern, Student Tracks can manage student's attendance and notify principals, truant officers, counselors, and parents when a student is absent, via email or text messaging, utilizing the Parent Communication Absentee Call Center module. Student Tracks provides you and the parents of students the security of knowing the children are safe in your custody.
